More than a simple boost pedal, the Pickup Booster not only allows you to boost your guitar’s signal without changing its tone, you can also flip a switch to gain access to a plethora of pickup tones. This pedal is extremely transparent – in fact, Seymour Duncan claims that you can set its gain at 0dB, run a long cable, and your signal will stay clean. Optimizes gain and resonance for a fat, muscular sound

By rotating the Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster pedal’s Gain control knob you can add pure, flat-EQ gain to your guitar’s signal, ranging from 0dB to 25dB. The Pickup Booster’s Resonance switch drops the resonant peak of a single-coil pickup up to 5KHz, making a single-coil sound like a full and fat humbucker. Just like the original SFX-01, the Pickup Booster features fully discrete Class A circuitry along with true bypass.

Resonance switch delivers a plethora of pickup tones

The Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster pedal is much more than a one-trick pony. You can set the Gain at 0dB and the Resonance at “0” for a transparent boost. You can set the Gain at 12 o’clock and the Resonance at “1” to shift the resonant peak of a single-coil down, thickening up your tone. You can set the Gain at maximum and the Resonance at “2” to give a single-coil the fatness of a high-output humbucker. You can crank the Gain and set the Resonance switch at “0” to give a humbucker maximum saturation and sustain. By the way, for the Resonance switch to work properly, the Pickup Booster must be first in your guitar’s signal chain using passive pickups and a standard guitar cable – not a wireless unit.
