Construction & Build For this guitar body the builders at Schecter opted for swamp ash. This tonewood is deeply resonant and provides a rich, full tone, especially on the low end of the scale. The neck is maple with carbon fiber reinforcements, making for a super-stiff overall build that mitigates dead spots and allows for clear tonality up and down the fretboard.
